PhD in Physics
I was born and raised in Minnesota. I hail from the small-ish, almost suburban, almost rural Farmington. I spent my undergrad at both the UofM Duluth and Twin Cities, earning a BS in Mathematics and Physics. I took a year off and came back last fall to earn a PhD in Physics. I am an outgoing, sociable person. I enjoy good communication more than anything, be it over a beer, a heated political discussion, or talk about math and science. My hobbies include weightlifting, playing chess, reading good fiction novels, and learning new languages.
