My name is Rui Zhou, a first-year graduate student in the Data Science program. I obtained my undergraduate degree at the University of Minnesota. I am highly motivated by the opportunity of continual learning in the field of data science and of its applications in many disciplines including Astrophysics. I am always fascinated by the universe.  I am so looking forward to the learning experience, research opportunities, and interactions with great minds in this program. In my free time, I like reading books, playing board games, watching TV shows, oil painting, baking, cooking, and running.
