Professor, School of Physics and Astronomy and Minnesota Institute for Astrophysics

I was born in former Yugoslavia, and I grew up in what is today Montenegro. I came to the US in 1992 to finish the last two years of high-school, in New Mexico, which is where I met my wife. College and graduate school took me to California, and in 2007 I came to Minnesota to start my faculty job. We have three kids, so in my spare time I mostly try to keep up with their activities :) I love to travel - everywhere, but especially to Montenegro which has the most beautiful mountains and beaches. And the food is so awesome there - I hope we can meet in person sometime soon, I will try to bring some and share!
