I was born and raised in Pakistan and moved to the USA about 22 years ago. I live in the twin cities suburbs with my husband and three wonderful kids. My academic background is in Computer Systems Engineering and I have worked extensively in the software industry mainly in telecommunications and more recently in data recovery and forensics. Studying Physics has been a long-sought passion for me and this seems to be the perfect time in my life to do just that!

In my spare time and beyond that, I run a women’s shelter for domestic abuse victims esp. for Asian, immigrant women. I enjoy cooking for my family and friends, going on long hikes and traveling to places rich in religious history. I proudly call myself as an activist for Palestinian human rights and dignity. I believe that life is never too short to follow your passions to their fullest.
